Rose Petals

Rose Petals is easier than it looks, and more satisfying than you'd expect. But I must warn you: watching the petals take shape is so addictive that your “just a few rows” might turn into an entire afternoon spent knitting.

A simple eyelet pattern forms the delicate petals, while the textured section with horizontal garter ridges on stockinette stitch adds subtle dimension and depth.

You begin with only a few stitches, and first increase the lace section to its full width. Then the texture section begins to grow, while the stitch count for the lace section stays the same. Both sections run side by side, creating a bias triangle wrap that feels like a warm hug.

Rose Petals is a great confidence booster for lace beginners, and a relaxing yet rewarding project for seasoned pros.
