New Warm & Woolly collection: Grow your handmade wardrobe
The Warm & Woolly 2018 collection is now live!
This year the collection includes three beautiful pieces, a matching sweater and hat in sport weight Malabrigo Arroyo and a beautiful shawl in two colours of fingering weight Malabrigo Mechita.
Each with simple lace and interesting details. Get ready to cast on!
Sweater Weather is a seamless top-down raglan with a beautiful lace panel on the front.
Simple and fun to knit, Sweater Weather is a true staple for your handmade wardrobe. The beautiful lace panel on the front makes for a nice change from stockinette stitch.
Sweater Weather is knitted seamlessly from the top down with raglan sleeves and short row shaping at the neck.
The pattern comes in 12 sizes to fit most body types. You can try the sweater on at any point to ensure your perfect fit.
Bust: (81, 86, 91, 96) [102, 107, 112, 117] {122, 127, 132, 137} cm / (32, 34, 36, 38) [40, 42, 44, 46] {48, 50, 52, 54} inches. Choose a size with 5-10 cm / 2-4 inches of positive ease (larger than your actual bust).
I used Malabrigo Arroyo in Pearl for mine, but you can substitute with a similar sport (or maybe even DK) weight yarn.

Common Ground is a pretty hat knitted with the same yarn and the same lace panel as Sweater Weather.
It comes in three adult sizes, so you’re sure to find one that fits you perfectly.
The beautiful lace panel runs up the side and decorates the stockinette stitch. Common Ground is knitted from the bottom up in the round with sport weight yarn. The crown decreases are worked quickly over the last few rounds, for a gathered crown.
This quick knit only uses 50 grams of Arroyo or 153 m / 167 yds of similar sport weight yarn.

Touchstone is a beautiful triangle shawl for two colours of fingering weight yarn.
The wavy lace stripes make the garter stitch ripple beautifully and means you’re in for an engaging knit. Touchstone is knitted diagonally from one corner to the opposite side creating an asymmetric triangle that drapes wonderfully.
You’ll need one skein of both colours or about 346 m / 378 yds of fingering weight yarn in C1 and 307 m / 336 yds in C2. I used Malabrigo Mechita in colours Polar Morn (C1) and Sand Bank (C2).
