New shawl Endless Summer is here!
The second pattern in the 2019 Shawl Club, Endless Summer, is here!
This shawl embodies the long, lazy days of the warmest months. And offers a great cover-up if a cold breeze is heading your way.
Endless Summer is a large and lofty asymmetric triangle.
It combines delicate texture with airy lace. First you knit the body in garter stitch with vertical stockinette ridges. Then you move onto the chevron lace border. Both stitch patterns are very relaxing to knit.
Pick up two skeins of your favourite fingering weight yarn, or try the Mythica Fibers Alpaca Fingering I used for mine, and cast on!
If you’ve already joined the club, you have received an email from Ravelry with a link to download the pattern. You can also access the pattern in your Ravelry library under the 2019 Woolenberry Shawl Club eBook (instead of the single pattern entry for Endless Summer). Don’t forget to click “update” to access the new pattern file.
Endless Summer is exclusive to club members until 2020. If you haven’t joined the club yet, it’s not too late! The club includes 4 shawl patterns, inspired by the changing seasons.
By joining now, you get immediate access to the first two club shawls, Waiting for Spring and Endless Summer.
The remaining two Shawl Club patterns are released in September and November. You’ll get them in your inbox (and Ravelry library) as soon as they go live. I hope you’ll join us!
