New: Comfort Zone shawl
Happy new year! Let’s start 2019 with some relaxing knitting, shall we?
All the gift knitting and busyness of the holidays is behind us, and we can focus on knitting just for the fun of it. Without deadlines or tight schedules.
Comfort Zone is the antidote to overwhelm. Familiar, relaxing and ultimately soothing. Stitch by stitch, you feel your shoulders drop and the tension ease out. The eyelet square pattern is enjoyable to knit and looks beautiful in any yarn.
I knitted my Comfort Zone shawl with Brooklyn Tweed Loft.
I used 3 skeins (100% Wool, 251 m / 275 yds per 50 g) in colour Snowbound. And I love it! The minimalist style of the shawl lets the yarn be in the spotlight.
You can knit your Comfort Zone with any yarn you want. The pattern is easily adaptable to different yarn weights and yarn amounts.
So whether the yarn that is calling your name is a single skein of luxurious fingering weight or several skeins of soft and warm worsted weight wool, or something in between, you can use it to cast on for this one.
