This is Coastline – Shawl #3 of Wanderlust Knits Pattern Club!
Wavy curves of traditional Shetland lace – accentuated by contrasting stripes – flow effortlessly between balancing garter stitch.
Coastline is worked top down starting from the neck with a garter tab cast on. Increases are made on both sides for a crescent shape shawl.
The overall look of this accessory depends on your chosen colour combo. Choose calm colours for a truly timeless piece, or go wild with bold statement colours. Knitter’s choice!

Coastline shawl uses two skeins of fingering weight yarn; one skein of main colour and one skein of contrast colour. I’ve knitted this sample shawl with colours “My grandmother’s favorite waste of time was to rewrite her will over and over” and “White trash”.
