Sea Grass is here! As you probably know, I’ve been sharing my knitting progress on FB and IG, and all the love and excitement you’ve shown to Sea Grass makes me so happy. I don’t usually have favourites of my designs (or at least like to admit it), but I gotta say I’m really, really loving this new one. Texture, lace + stripes, what’s not to love!
Sea Grass is large and lofty wrap with bias construction. Geometric & three-dimensional lace is worked on the right side only, and separated by refreshing garter stitch stripes.
Starting with just one stitch, Sea Grass is knit diagonally with increases on one side and decreases on the other for a slightly asymmetric triangle shape.
My Sea Grass shawl is knit with DyeForWool Merino/Silk Fingering, which I love, love, love. Get your fave color combo from DyeForWool Etsy shop or choose some other drool-worthy fingering weight yarn. Merino/Silk blends always work like a charm!
