Afterglow – Worsted weight lace shawl knitting pattern

When it comes to stitch patterns, chevron lace is the crème de la crème in my book.

It’s the epitome of timeless—the motif dating all the way back to ancient Greece, yet still looking as fresh and chic as ever.

The lace is meditative to knit, and creates an effortlessly striking look.

But the best part? From the moment your needles start moving, it’s impossible to put down.

Watching those zigzags form is like bingeing your favourite show—you just have to keep going.

And that’s what Afterglow shawl is all about.

It’s the kind of project that makes you want to cancel your plans, settle into your favourite spot, and knit non-stop.

I knitted mine with Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage in colour Tart.

You’ll need about 364 m / 400 yds of worsted-weight yarn for a same-sized shawl.

Or, grab more yarn and make yours bigger. The size is easy to adjust to fit your preferences or yarn amount.
