Janina Kallio Design is now Woolenberry!
I’m so thrilled to finally share this exciting news with you! And to celebrate the new name and look, I’ve got lovely treats for you.
New pattern features
Loads of love and care has been poured into making the beautiful and improved patterns feel extra special and to create a smooth and cherished knitting experience for you.
There’s no bulletproof one-size-fits-all way to write a knitting pattern. While I take pride in the simple and clearly written pattern instructions, I also know that there’s always room for improvement. With the launch of Woolenberry, I’m updating all patterns with several small tweaks and adding helpful information based on the questions and comments I’ve received from you over the years.
So, in addition to the gorgeous new look, I hope you find the updated patterns even more knitter-friendly, to help make the knitting process enjoyable and stress-free.
Accessing the updated PDF patterns
I’ll be updating patterns in batches during the following weeks and months, with the very first set of 10 patterns updated… by tomorrow! If you have bought any of them on Ravelry, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the brand new PDF, and you can also access them in your Ravelry library.
The first update includes: Antarktis, Rosewater, Interlude, Herald, Wildheart, Softly Spoken, Diamond Ice, Spotlight, Sea Grass & Ardent.
Meet the Woolenberry Team
Despite the new name and logo, the people behind them are the same. Janina still knits and designs beautiful patterns for you, Victoire takes care of our wonderful Ravelry group, and Mira manages the financial stuff that goes into running a business. And, for almost a year now, the person most often behind the camera lens taking gorgeous photos has been our in-house photographer Ilona.
We’ve come a long way from the one-woman-shop that began in a tiny nook in Janina’s bedroom, to this passionate team of women we are today.
We’re all beyond excited to share Woolenberry with you and we hope you’ll love the new name and look as much as we do!
