Yarn
One skein of Wollmeise Pure (100% merino; 525 m / 574 yds per 150 g)- Shown in colour Jeton.
Or approximately 525 m / 574 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.
This shawl can be worked in any yarn weight and yarn amount. You simply work the pattern repeat until you run out of yarn or reach your desired size.
Needles
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge
This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80 –100 cm / 32 – 40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
Gauge
20 stitches and 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch before blocking
