One skein of Madelinetosh Tosh Sock (100% merino wool; 361 m / 395 yds per approx. 100 g skein). Shown in colour Calligraphy.

Needles
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to achieve pattern gauge
Although this shawl is worked flat, I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
Gauge
20 stitches and 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch before blocking
